Instead I filled the cavity with garlic, onions, oranges and herbs. I cooked the stuffing in baking dishes and basted it with turkey juices while it cooked. Adding chicken broth also helps. <br /><br />My mom normally cooks some stuffing in the bird and the rest in a baking dish. Do you always do your stuffing outside of the bird?
